During AnimeJapan 2024, the production team for the anime adaptation of Aka Akasaka and Mengo Yokoyari's manga "Oshi no Ko" revealed that its second season is set to premiere in July in Japan. They also unveiled a new visual, special video, and introduced new voice cast members:
- Yuusuke Kobayashi as Sakuya.
- Kouki Uchiyama as Taiki.
Further details about the second season will be disclosed on the first season's anniversary on April 12.
The first season, comprising eleven episodes, aired in Japan and is distributed in the West by HIDIVE. Akasaka and Yokoyari commenced the manga's serialization in Shueisha's Weekly Young Jump in April 2020.
